Scouts from Darlington joined others from around the County at the Frostie Fun Day held at Moor House Activity Centre in February.
Activities kicked of at around 10.00, with a full range of things going on – climbing, abseiling, grass sledging, grass boarding, crate stack, fire lighting, backwoods cooking, motorised buggies, tomahawk throwing, air rifles, archery……
Everyone was served a hot lunch, and hot drinks were freely available – important as it was quite cold all day.
This year’s event was more ‘Muddie’ than ‘Frostie’, with occasional short showers, but never enough to affect the activities.
At tea time Scouts departed for home, all rather muddy but more importantly very happy.
