Squirrels & Scouts Hit the Beach!
10 Squirrels + 10 Scouts = One Amazing Day Out!
What an unforgettable day it’s been for our Squirrels and Scouts from the 27th Darlington Scout Group!
With buckets full of enthusiasm (and a few full of crabs ), our young adventurers enjoyed an action-packed beach trip filled with:
- Splashing in the sea and crab hunting
- Building sandcastles worthy of a Scout Kingdom
- Ladybird spotting and exploring the shoreline
- Chips on the beach (because no seaside trip is complete without them!)
- Loads of laughs and games in the play area
- A peaceful picnic on the train ride home
We also took time to care for our planet by doing a beach litter pick, showing the world that our Scouts and Squirrels are true stewards of nature.
By the end of the day, we had some very tired (but very happy!) Squirrels and Scouts. Everyone gave it their all, and the energy, curiosity, and team spirit were a joy to see.
A huge thank you to all the leaders, helpers, and parents who supported the day—it wouldn’t have been possible without you.
