Darlington Scouts are always on the lookout for new Adult Leaders to join our Scout Group Leadership Teams but it’s always a proud moment when it’s one of our own.

Like many Scouting Young People who become a Leader, Alfie’s journey in Scouts has been one to be proud of.

  • Camping adventures in all seasons
  • Learning essential survival and leadership skills
  • Taking part in community service projects
  • Earning badges that showcase his dedication and growth
  • Forming lifelong friendships and memories

Alfie’s transition from a Beaver to an inspiring Leader is a testament to the values of Scouting—commitment, resilience, and a passion for helping others.

Along the way, he’s had unforgettable experiences, including:

  • A trip to Gilwell Park in London with Cubs
  • A week-long camp in Northern Ireland as a young Scout
  • An adventure in Kandersteg, Switzerland
  • Various expeditions and challenges
  • And most recently, an international trip to Norway!

We’re incredibly proud to see him step into this new role, guiding and encouraging the next generation of Scouts. Congratulations, Hawk! We can’t wait to see what’s next in your Scouting journey.
