Darlington District members joined Scouts from across the county to celebrate their achievement of earning the prestigious King’s Scout Award—the highest honour in Scouting.

The special presentation evening brought together award recipients, their families, and leaders to recognise the dedication, resilience, and commitment required to reach this milestone. Young people from across the county, including Darlington, were honoured for completing this challenging award, which represents the very best of Scouting.

Among those celebrated was Archie Smith from Darlington District, whose leadership and contribution at both group and district level were recognised alongside his fellow King’s Scouts.

The evening highlighted not only individual success but also the strong sense of community within Scouting, as members came together to celebrate achievements and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.
