Our Scouts at the 5th Darlington Scout Group recently hosted a truly special Mother’s Day Wine & Dine evening, and it was a fantastic success from start to finish.
The young people took full ownership of the event, planning the menu, preparing and cooking a delicious three-course meal, and providing table service throughout the evening. They also worked together behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly, including washing up and keeping the kitchen organised.
The event was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate mums, nans, grans, and carers, who were all treated to a memorable evening filled with great food and warm hospitality.
We are incredibly proud of the teamwork, dedication, and positive attitude shown by all the Scouts involved. Their hard work and commitment truly paid off, creating an experience that everyone will remember.
Well done to everyone who took part — a brilliant example of Scouts developing skills for life.
