21st Darlington Scouts Enjoy an Action-Packed Water Sports Taster Day at Ellerton!
The 21st Darlington Scouts recently enjoyed an exciting water sports taster day at Ellerton, giving everyone the chance to try something new, learn new skills and have plenty of fun on the water!
With eight Scouts and two leaders taking part, the group had a fantastic opportunity to experience a range of water sports, including sailing, kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding.
There was something for everyone, whether they were learning to paddle, getting to grips with sailing or simply enjoying the experience of being out on the water. The day was full of laughter, adventure and new challenges, with everyone getting stuck in and making the most of the activities.
As well as having a brilliant time, all eight Scouts achieved their Paddle Sports Level 1 and Time on the Water Level 1 badges — a fantastic achievement and a great way to celebrate their efforts!
The smiles, enthusiasm and excitement throughout the day showed just how much everyone enjoyed the experience. In fact, the Scouts are already looking forward to returning to Ellerton for another water sports adventure!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible and gave our Scouts the opportunity to try something new.
Another brilliant Scouting adventure, more skills learned, and memories made — we can’t wait to get back on the water!
Adventure starts here with the 21st Darlington Scouts!
