What an incredible effort from everyone at the 12th Darlington Scout Group!
Together we cleaned and prepared over 230 pairs of football boots – so many that we completely ran out!
A huge thank you to everyone who donated boots and equipment. Special congratulations to Oscar, William and Hugo, who collected the most donations in their respective sections.
All of the boots and equipment will be donated by The Harvey McWilliams Foundation, helping young people who are less fortunate gain access to football and enjoy the opportunities the game brings.
A special mention also goes to our Young Leader, Josh, who put in an enormous amount of work organising and promoting the event. His dedication and leadership contributed towards him being presented with his Diamond Award this evening – a thoroughly well-deserved achievement.
