Supporting Freddie on His Road to the World Scout Jamboree 2027
We’re excited to share a brilliant local Scouting story!
Freddie, a hardworking Scout from Howden-le-Wear, is gearing up for the adventure of a lifetime as he prepares for the World Scout Jamboree in Poland in 2027. It’s a huge honour to be selected, and he’s throwing himself into the challenge with real determination.
To help fund his journey, Freddie has launched his own little enterprise — Freddie’s Paracord — creating handmade paracord bracelets and accessories. Every item he sells helps bring him closer to joining thousands of Scouts from around the world for this incredible experience.
Recently, Freddie reached out to Darlington Scouts to ask if he could run a stall at our Christmas Fayre… and honestly, we didn’t even have to think about it. We’re always happy to support a neighboring Scout, especially one showing this much drive and enthusiasm. So of course, we welcomed him with open arms!
