Eastbourne Explorers recently organised and completed a passport one night camp at Moorhouse. This meant we had no adults or leader with us and had to do everything ourselves. Everyone had to get the train from Darlington to Durham and then collect supplies and bus to the campsite. We setup camp and explored the grounds of Moorhouse while we were waiting for our tea to be delivered then off to bed.
The next day we cooked out breakfast and then completed Tomahawk throwing which our instructor was amazing at helping us with! The facilities were clean and stocked up.
A big thank you to you all for letting us have a one-night camp, I’m sure it will happen again!
