Darlington Scouts Enjoy T1 Rugby Sessions at Mowden Park RFC
Darlington Scouts recently took to the field at Mowden Park Rugby Football Club for a day of exciting T1 Rugby sessions, designed to introduce young people to the game in a fun, engaging, and inclusive environment.
The event featured two dedicated sessions:
- Beavers and Cubs kicked off the day with high-energy games and basic rugby drills tailored to younger age groups.
- Scouts and Explorers followed with a more advanced session, focusing on teamwork, strategy, and developing core rugby skills.
Led by professional Rugby coaches, the sessions emphasised participation, confidence-building, and teamwork — ensuring every young person had a chance to get involved, regardless of experience.
The partnership between Darlington Scouts and Mowden Park RFC made for an unforgettable day that combined physical activity with personal development in a supportive setting.
