A Weekend to Remember!
The 21st Darlington Scout Group’s Family Camp 2025 is now behind us – and what an amazing weekend it was!
Families came together for a jam-packed few days of fun, teamwork, and a real taste of Scout spirit. Here’s just some of what we got up to:
- Wide games across the field that brought out our adventurous side
- Family competitions that saw parents, Scouts, and siblings all battling it out in good fun
- Escape room challenge in the wide room – clever thinking was key to getting out!
- A fun quiz night that kept everyone on their toes
- Campfire songs under the stars, followed by some brave renditions the next morning
- Paracord figure-making, letting everyone get a bit creative
One of the biggest hits with the little ones was the mini car built by David and Emily – the perfect ride for field adventures as they were chauffeured around in style!
A huge thank you to all the volunteers, leaders, parents, and Scouts who made it such a brilliant weekend. We’re already looking forward to Family Camp 2026!
