The 27th Darlington Scout Group have a new Group Badge!
YouShape is all about involving the young members and the 27th Scout Group have done just that.
They held a badge design competition last October, and combined the ideas from their Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts into one badge that reflects the 27th Darlington Scout Group, with:
- Our group colours (grey and yellow)
- The blue River Skerne (for the name of the estate and our proximity to the river)
- The trees of South Park and Geneva Woods
- The clock tower of the Railway Station – as seen from Skerne Park – including the hands pointing to the 2 and the 7.
Special thanks to Jenny Thompson who did all the hard-work in actually taking it from a rough sketch into a proper badge.
