<Volunteering Role>
As part of our new District Team, we are looking for an Events Team Leader to help organise, manage, support and run activities and events in the District.
You do not need to be an existing Member of the Scout Association but will become one as part of the Volunteer process, the position will also require a new Scouting DBS, and the volunteer will follow the Scouts own Policy, Organisation and Rules (POR)
You will develop existing events working with organisers and look at new opportunities for all sections across the District.
You will work with adults and young people to ensure we are offering a Youth Shaped approach to all events held in the District.
You will hold and control the District events calendar and meet with your team to discuss and approve events and ideas.

- Ability to work with all members of the District from youth to adult members.
- Risk and safety aware.
