Summer Adventures with Darlington Explorers

The last two weeks of term have been packed with excitement, challenges, and unforgettable experiences for our Darlington Explorers!

Paddleboarding & Kayaking at Ellerton Lake

Last Thursday, we made the most of a glorious summer evening at Ellerton Lake near Scorton. Thanks to the fantastic North Yorkshire Scouts Watersports Team, our Explorers took to the water for an exhilarating session of paddleboarding and kayaking.

It was the perfect way to cool off, try something new, and enjoy the outdoors together. Whether it was mastering balance on the paddleboard or racing through the water in a kayak, there were smiles all around!

High-Speed Fun at TeamSport Go Karting

This Thursday, a group of thrill-seeking Explorers swapped the lake for the track with a visit to TeamSport Go Karting in Stockton.

It was an evening of adrenaline-pumping action, full of high-speed turns, overtaking maneuvers, and friendly competition. Our young racers showed great determination and team spirit, and many walked away with new personal bests—and big grins!
