21st Darlington Scout Group at Beamish Flag Day
The 21st Darlington Scout Group had a fantastic day at Beamish Flag Day, with all four sections—Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts—coming together to take part in the celebrations.
The group proudly paraded through the historic streets of Beamish, joining many other Scout groups and uniformed organisations from across the region. There was a real sense of community and pride throughout the day.
Our young people took part in a variety of activities, including flag-making and enjoying some well-earned fun in the park. The atmosphere was further lifted by lively performances from music bands playing both in the town’s bandstand and on the events field, adding a festive soundtrack to the day.
It was a brilliant opportunity for the Scouts to connect with others, represent their group, and celebrate Scouting spirit in such a vibrant and memorable setting.
