12th Darlington Scouts Enjoy an Evening of Geocaching Adventure
Our Scouts had a fantastic evening exploring Rockwell Nature Reserve as they took part in an exciting geocaching adventure.
Working together in small teams, everyone had the opportunity to take turns navigating the route using GPS coordinates, building their map-reading and navigation skills while enjoying the great outdoors. Their teamwork and determination paid off as they searched for hidden geocaches scattered around the reserve.
There was plenty of excitement with every successful find, and it was great to see everyone getting involved, encouraging one another and celebrating each discovery. As well as being lots of fun, the evening helped develop problem-solving, communication and leadership skills in a real outdoor environment.
A huge well done to all of our Scouts for embracing the challenge and making it such an enjoyable evening. We’re already looking forward to the next adventure!
