As we celebrate St George’s Day today – 23rd April – the Patron Saint of scouting, we look back at our St George’s Day Parade.
Gathering outside the town hall for our parade of group flags, we walked through the town and onto the Majestic Theatre.
Whilst in the Majestic Theatre the Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Volunteers all renewed their Scout Promise, followed by some brave young people who came up on stage to perform a skit , song or joke. It was an opportunity for the District Team to award some of the Adult Volunteers with some well earned awards.
